      It does, if the scratch isn't bad.

      There is also some kind of protective coat where you can apply on the surface of a CD or DVD. Similar to the kind you put over an LCD screen.

        The scratch remover stuff can sometimes work miracles, especially if they're not too deep. That's what I hear anyway. I'm rather adept at making fully functional images of my game cds

          I know that some cd stores (ussually the locally owned ones) have the commercial cd scratch removers. They may charge you a small fee. Also try hollywood video, they all have the resurfacing machines that work wonders (i ued to work at one and fixed 20 or 30 of my cds), you may be able to ask one of the employees to fix it for you.

            hey everybody, just wanted to let people know that the cd scratch remover thing worked. I was a little doubtful, at first when I started, but I just tried it and it worked. Thanks to all who replied.
