CTD when Loading QuickSave Game ...

The game runs ok, normal saves/loads work fine. Quicksave (shift-F5) works fine.

However, everytime I try to Quick Load (shift-F8) the game crashes to the desktop. I'm running on a Pentium system (PowerSpec) with both patches installed.

Has anyone else run into this and is there a way to fix it?

I think your save game file is corrupted.

The same thing happened to me a couple of times - I think the game should verify the integrity of the files before returning control. This can be added easily in a patch.

Maybe, but I've started several games and quicksaved over the file - and still had the problem. If it is a corrupted file, the program is corrupting it everytime it creates it with quicksave.

I have that happened more than once also. Not as frequently as you, of course.
