Mods and multiplayer

Hi all!

I'm in the mood to mess with mods a little; only I'm concerned about being able to play multiplayer lateron. I have a group of 3-4 friends with whom I play multiplayer semi-regularly; say every two to three days. Now I want to know: how easy is it to remove mods? I guess they're all loaded through the "load mod" mechanism, right? So no chance of "tainting" my core game to the point where I couldn't play MP anymore?

all your mods go into your documents folder, so the game folder (real version) remains untouched.
