  • How do I 1) turn off intro movies and 2) tell cities to keep building the same thing?

I tried to make a descriptive thread title

How do I 1) turn off intro movies and 2) tell cities to keep building the same thing forever, no popup when done?

I haven't been able to figure it out.

well, in the city screen you can queue up production, so if you queued multiple projects they would keep building the same thing.

Thanks, but there must be an easier way? I don't need to shift+click Grenadiers fifty times in each city so I could be left alone when each is built?

I too would like to know how to turn off those damn movies that always seem to be the result of insanely long load times or crashing or both. >.<

512mb of ram my ass! This game sucks up 500-750mb of ram on low quality graphics.

Im talking about those wonder movies. I really could care less about them.

Alt + click makes an infinite number.

It will go to the next item on the list after each individual build, e.g.: Alt + click on archer, then Shift+Alt+Click on warrior (To place it at the end of the queue rather than replacing) will make the city alternate between an archer and warrior indefinitely.

I've just tested it, and Alt+click seems to put an asterisk beside the unit name, which probably means that it will be built continually, which is what I need. OK. BTW., I think I had tried it once before, but it didn't work from the popup screen. You need to enter the city screen to access it.

Anyone knows about the intro movies? I think I've read somewhere that it's an .ini thing.

There is a setting in the ini file that turns off movies. I am not sure if it turns off the intro ones, but somehow I got rid of mine.
