Elizabeth diplomacy theme

Can anyone tell me the name of the piece that Elizabeth's diplomacy theme is based on?

Especially the last half of the late/modern version

I've heard it before so I guess it is from one of the standard composers (like Mozart and the rest of the gang).

It's based off of Rondeau by Mouret. It was used as the theme for Masterpiece Theater.
