Yeah the Barbs get pretty advanced on Terra maps if you let them. But still... the pyramids? You must have been pretty slow in the wonders department.

Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess."

The amazing thing is that the barbs not only beat the human, but also the 9 Prince AI's.
The city does look to have crazy good food, and since barbs don't have happy problems (I don't think they do, anyway) it probably grew like a weed.
I've seen Barbs build the Pyramids, but only with very weird settings.
And random thought: Do barbs generate great people? If so, what do they do with them?Comment

I don't believe barbs get great people. I set up a custom game (see my 'Lunch with the Barbs' thread in general) with me as the only civ and raging barbs. The barbs built pretty much all the wonders but never did I get a great person notification. It may be that they do get great people but it's not declared however, they never built shrines for the religions they founded so it seems like they probably don't. A spy looking for super specialists is probably the best bet to prove anything.www.neo-geo.comComment

It really blew my mind when I stumbled across it.....I focused on getting the GLH and Colosus.
Think about this though....What civic system do barbarians use? Why would they build the pyramids over something else like stonehenge or oracle?
BTW, I relieved those crazy barbs of their burden last night...Think Ill set my forbidden palace there !Comment
