My Pcs getting rebuilt by my local PC Paramedics in Sandhurst, good local shop with a good reputation, So Im looking forward to the end result and especiallly looking forward to being able to play civ 4 properley for the first time..

cqdemal, true, a closer look at the specs show it´s mostly design and no real power. For $ 939 you only get 256 Mb RAM, 80 Gb HD and integrated Intel graphics (which don´t play Civ 4 AFAIK).

A decent setup (with monitor) would cost you almost twice that amount ($1,769).

I tried 'building' a custom Alienware gaming PC once, picking all the silly options, and ended up with a $25,000 machine with projectors and all that stuff.

Even the ALX series don't give you enough bang for the money at USD4300. You'd expect a truly monstrous beast.
