Mouse and map not in sync

I'm sure this has been mentioned by others before me, but one problem I have after patching (and before patching) is that the game doesn't give the right tile information when I mouse over it. It seems to give the information from two or more tiles to the right of where the mouse is. Is there a fix to this, or just a video card problem, again?

Oh, and while I'm here, is there any fix to animals not showing up on screen, just their shadows? Thanks.
