Ok, I know I've seen somethig about the savegame issue somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere now.
I have a brand new Toshiba M60 notebook: Intel Pentium M 2.13GHz, 1gb RAM, 256mb nVidia geForce go 6600 graphics card.
I can play standard games from the 'Play Now' option perfectly. Whenever I try to start a scenario, particularly on the Earth map, the loading screen gets to 'finished' and then the computer just shuts down and reboots without warning. In addition to this, when trying to load a saved game, it now does the same thing.
I have treid all versions (1, 1.09, 1.52), uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted all files including savegames, now I'm fed up.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do or what the problem is? The game should run perfectly on this system, but it is so far a major Disappointment, which is not surprisingly very disappointing. Cheers!
