Lucky day: 3 tech goodie huts on Monarch!

I don't typically play civs that start with hunting so I don't know what's it like to clear the map in a few turns. Now I don't know if this is a big deal to other people, but today, on Monarch, I apparently hit Goodie Hut Silicon Valley. 3 techs! And these weren't any wimpy techs!

Gotta love the goodie huts . . .

especially when they give you a settler.

I've actually adjusted the huts to be more beneficial. What the heck, I figure since everyone has an equal opportunity to stumble onto them, the balance is sustained.

On a game I started today, the first two huts I popped gave me:

Bronze Working and Iron Working. This is a HUGE boost at marathon speed.

... And you quickly found out that all you have access to are stone, marble, elephants and horses.

I had something like that happen. Playing a MP game with a 'random' empire. I ended up being Rome. Popped 2 huts, got Bronze Working and Iron Working. Found iron on a square next to my starting city.

Needless to say, I won that game.
