Every game I've played has ended with a space victory.....although not always by me.
Is it a reflection of the way I play or are most games easiet won this way?

Nope, been at it for as long as they've been out but theres many different ways to win in civ 4 and I would have thought that, even if my style is always the same, the AI would try to achieve different victoriesComment

It is the easiest way, overall. Domination or Conquest are very difficult and time consuming.
I have won once at both Diplomacy and Culture, and the AI has come within one vote of Diplomacy. I think, if properly planned for, Culture could be fairly simple to accomplish on a regular basis. Diplomatic victory is easy. Just turn Domination victory off, and ensure that you own 75% of the world's population
