Same problems, as well as many other lockups/crashes.
I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT, an Athlon64 and 1GB of RAM. All drivers are updated.
I already had to do the "initialize renderer " fix (unpak .pak file, remove from folder) just to start the program, and now, it crashes every 10 minutes or so. It's basically unplayable.
Ridiculous.
ps. I also get a bizarre 'video glitch' where the screen turns a wierd "plaid" pattern, then locks up, crashes, or whatever. One time I managed to exit via task manager, and caught my video card trying to send an error report out...
