Game speed changes after 1.52?

I am very sure that I have started every game with "Standard" game speed. But now, my hall of fame says that 3/4 of my games are at "epic" speed.

is this due to the patch and the new "marathon" speed so that they altered the old game speeds?

Same here. The patch changed the game speed in the HoF AND the date (year) of my saved games.
Well, I can live with that...
