OK,
First off I love the game. I was thrilled to see the fixes and improvements that the new patch offered.
But here's the problem: (my box meets/exceeds all requirements)
1. Before the new patch I never had ONE lockup or crash
2. After the patch I finished a Large map custom game (about 8 hours of play) without any issue or problem. (I LOVE the fact that the production lists can now be hotkeyed!)
3. I started a NEW large map and now my computer freezes up SOLID (Must reset/kill power) randomly after about 5 min of continuous play. I suspoected that I might have had an initial problem with the first game, but this has happened on 3-4 NEW fresh starts.
I tried going to default settings in options, I tried the various other memory/performance boosts, and even double-checked my drivers.
