Choppy Sound + Freezing Ingame

I have a brand new ATi Radeon X1600XT (from Powercolor, PCIE, 256 MG GDDR3). I have the game on highest settings (It was there by default, the card should be able to manage it). Yet, when playing, the game will constantly freeze and begin sound stuttering. Any ideas?

What do you whant us to say? Try updating all your drivers, (this is the standard help given by 2K) also try running at lower settings. This game is a crap shoot I personally know two other people with this game all with similar systems to me, it is buggy as hell for 2 of us but for 1 it runs just fine not one CTD, of course I'm not the one.
