  • An investment of one's time?

Hi, as I mentioned in my other thread I've been out of the civ world for some time now, and I was considering getting civ4 (I've been out of the gaming world for a while too since I'm a student and my computer broke during the summer and I'm only now replacing it). However, I wanted to ask you guys:

How many games of civ does it take to make one's life complete?

    Or, less petulantly:

    1. How much time do you take playing civ?
    2. What would you be doing otherwise?
    3. Do you feel that civ has enhanced your life or detracted from it?

    1. How much time do you take playing civ?
At the moment, about 8 hours a week. For me, that's most if not all of my gaming time.

    2. What would you be doing otherwise?
    Playing a different game.

    3. Do you feel that civ has enhanced your life or detracted from it?
It's certainly entertaining me, and therefore making me happy. If that counts as enhancing my life, then it has!

Time spent playing Civ: Less time than spent spamming about Civ
What would I be doing otherwise: Everquest 2

Has Civ enhanced or enriched my life:
Hmmm, tough call. I'd say it hasn't, though it has made me aware that the internet isn't entirely full of retards. (Hugs apolyton)

        1. A few hours per day.
        2. Feeding my internet addiction.
        3. Life? Didn't I read about that on the internet?
