I finally got it working on a computer that's below the specs. but I was wondering. On this PC there is 504MB of system RAM (some is being used for the graphics processing, that's why it's a wierd number). How many civilizations and on what size map should I play? I don't want there to be any more then a minute between turns [2.6GHZ Celeron (Probabally equivlent to something like a 1.6, 1.7GHZ p4] and I want the goal to be less then 45 seconds. If anyone knows how this game performs on low-end systems please help me out here. Thanks

Maybe you should just trail and error yourself. Just start with the smallest map (and civs) and keep on increasing the number in future games until it becomes unacceptable for you.
