    why no tech for ressources ?

    Hi,

    hope this is in the right part of the forum this time ...

    why can I not trade ressources for techs and vice versa ?

    Shouldnt be too tough for the AI since it probably has assigned money values to everything.

    To easy to exploit.

    Ai gives you tech (worth a 1000 gold), you promise to pay 110 gold per turn (for ten turns) but cancel the trade by going to war with him.
    Now you just got yourself a free tech.
    Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

        Yes, the game seems not to loan itself to backstabbing and lying all that much. It's a shame, for a game modelling human civilization
