  • Financial Leader Trait

I don't understand the Financial Leadership trait. It says +1 gold on plots with 2 gold on them. This means to me that when I look at city screen I should see no worked tiles with 2 gold on them. It should either be 1 gold or 3+ gold. When I did this at the end of a recent game with Elizabeth as leader I saw a number of worked tiles with 2 gold on them. What don't I understand?

Could it have been one bag plus two coins?

      I figured it out....

I was in a Golden Age so the tiles with one gold went to two and I would have then expected that that the Financial Leadership trait would have taken it to three but it did not do this.

Is this a bug or feature?

Sounds like a bug. Though it might be an undocumented feature.

Golden Ages might be pretty overpowered with financial civs otherwise

I would think that the hurdle to qualify for the Financial trait's bonus would also double during a GA. Otherwise, like Diadem said, GAs would be overpowered for financial civs! You'd have gold through the roof!

But that wouldn't be a bad thing.

At least as long it is you who gets the golden age and not an AI-Civ with the financial trait
