No Map Scrolling in Windowed Mode - Anyone else ?

I would prefer to NOT play the game in full screen mode. (I want to be able to easily minimize the game and come to Apolyton to learn why I am losing again.)

But when I play it as a basic window in WinXP i cannot scroll on the map by moving the cursor to the edges.

Has anyone else had this problem ? Does anyone know of a fix ?

It's not really a problem. It's just part of playing in a window...

You can enable windowed mode scrolling in the Config file...just look for the proper line in there and set the value to 1. It won't work exactly like full screen mode because of the limits of the window, but it'll be close

Could you maybe read the question before posting a response to something else?

I know of no way to make scrolling work in windowed mode. I suspect this is just a design limitation, aka a bug.

Could you maybe read my post before acting like a smart ass? I did answer his question. Even with the option enabled, it doesn't behave exactly like it does in full screen, hence my mini discussion. Get over yourself.

Sorvino, look for this line in your Civ4 config file:

; Allow Mouse Scrolling in Windowed mode
MouseScrolling = 0

Make sure it's set to 1 and you should be good to go
