  • City population count indicator colours

    If a city's population count indicator is a star it means the city acts as a capital. But what do the different colours mean? I have seen both white, red and green circles/stars. What gives?

    red, your people are eating more food than the city is growing.

    white, it's in perfect balance, neither starving or growing.

    green, you have excess food, and the population is growing.
    Where are we going? And why are we in this handbasket?

      The number will also be white when you are producing a settler or a worker because you stop growing while building those units.

      Red = starving
      White = stagnet
      Green = growing

        I think all enemy cities also show up as being White. (This might change if I spy 'em)
        So:
        Green: Needs more Production
        Red: Needs more Food
        White: Needs more Military

          Doesn't it also show up white if you only have one excess food?
