Just got an external sound card for my laptop, an Echo Indigo IO.
Listening to music is now a pleasure rather than an annoyance! However, now all the audio in Civ IV plays at 10x normal speed. While it is interesting having the Chipmunks with me while playing, I really would like to have the normal audio back.
What is also odd is that the audio during the into movie plays just fine.
No problems in other games, just civ IV.
So, on the off-chance that someone else has this card, or has had this problem, any ideas?
