The entire error message read (This was an in game error message):
Fatal Error
Memory Allocation Failure - exiting program.
Reason: bad allocation. File:\CvAppMainLoop.cpp. Line: 261
My specs are AMD 1900, 1Gb PC 2700 RAM, over 20 Gb free HDD space, Leadtek A250 GF4 ti4400 128mb video, Audigy soundcard.
Game runs fine if I make some of the graphics settings medium and turn off antialiasing until later in the game and the world is uncovered to about 75% and a wonder video tries to play and the whole comp basically comes to a halt. The little button that says 'Ok' at the bottom of the video (I think it says ok?) appears after a minute or so and if I click it the game cranks up again but a is obviously having a much harder time processing things than before the video was attempted to be played. Funny thing is that many of the other videos work fine. The only two that have given me constant hassles are the Hanging Gardens and Taj Mahal videos.
But back to the error at the top....Anyone else seen it, had it, sick to the eyeballs of it or more importantly - have a solution for it?
