  • strange defeat

I was in the year 2030 something, and well ahead in points. I had control of the UN, and nobody was going to win that way. Nobody was even close to conquest or domination victories. Only 2 nations started on the space victory, but only had a couple of SS casings built. Nobody was close to a culture victory.

And i get "You were defeated" message.

The only thing I figured happened on the turn i was defeated was Persia built an SS casing, to give them 3 total.

Is there an end of game bug that makes the player lose for no apparent reason?

Have you considered the possibility of a cultural defeat?

I had the 3 most cultured cities. None were close to Legendary tho.

I spied and followed the other civs. There was no chance of anyone beating me that way.

In the Hall of Fame screen, it said Space victory, but nobody built the ship!

Occasionally, the announcements lag horribly behind. I flip a city, and it takes few/many! turns for the "City X has revolted and joined your empire." to appear...
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

Hmm, I guess the AI simply got bored and fed up and decided to take it's ball back home.

Announcements lag behind when you play your turns quickly.

Ninot, if that's repeatable, feel like uploading a save?
