I think its ridiculous that Firaxis have not allowed modders to import new unit models

Why is this

A key feature of a 'true' mod is certainly in this case, the ability to implement new units with new unit models..

The SDK is due to be released after Xmas.

It will/should include the necessary plugins(hopefully for Max) to create and import units.
