  • I don't think Take2 read my e-mail

    A few days after Civ 4 came out, I asked Take2's support:

    "Does the Canadian version of Civilization 4 come with a paper manual? I only received a CD with a PDF."

    On Dec 2, they replied, saying:

    1. Delete all temporary files from your system.
    2. Close down all background tasks.
    3. Reinstall the game.
    4. Run a thorough Scandisk and Defrag on your computer.
    5. Update your drivers.

    Why do I suspect that they sent this mail to everyone in their queue?

      After sending my latest email concerning the problems caused by the 1.09 patch I recieved a reply blaming my video drivers and that all I had to do is download the latest ones and all the problems would be fixed.

      Well I already had all the latest drivers and Take2 can bite my shiny metal ass.
