I downloaded patch 1.09 today and loaded the game I was playing previously to downloading the patch. I received the message that my system was below the minimum specs (I have Intel Extreme Graphics) but I tried playing anyway.
The game loaded fine but when I zoomed out or displayed the tiles I received a "display driver stopped responding" error. I clicked "ok" and nothing happened for several minutes and I couldn't play. I tried loading and playing the game a couple more times with the same result.
I then tried starting a new game. Everything worked fine. In fact, no more chesire cats and I had the fog of war. I was now thinking that you probably couldn't load a game from 1.0. However, when I loaded this new game after taking a break, I received that same "display driver stopped responding" error.
Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? I don't have time to play an entire game without stopping.
