I have seen a couple of posts where Monty will adopt Theocracy with no state religion, thus disallowing you to convert him to your state religion. I also note that a civ without a state religion usually adopts the first one they contact in their cities. Does this mean if I declare war on Monty, capture a city and use a missionary to spread my religion, then let him take take it back, will he convert to my religion?
