The AI can definitely take out other AI players, at least since patch 1.09 has come out. In my current game (monarch level, 13 AI civs + me), the AI civs have taken out 3 civs, all without any input whatsoever from me, and a fourth civ has been reduced to one (small and remote) remaining city.

most AI wars dont seem to turn out too well, but I've seen tokugawa wipe out an entire nation or two. that guy is one mean sob.By working faithfully eight hours a day, you may get to be a boss and work twelve hours a day.Comment

Nah, the AI just logs on here, downloads "a proper score graph" and gets a clue from that.
