Does any further research into this area actually yeild results?

Or is it just a waste of time and money?

Well, the tech itself says it gives +1 to health and something else...

And probably some extra points

The first future tech gives +1 health and +1 hapiness.

What about subsequent ones though? Do they still give any bonus?

Each subsequent future tech gives an additional and heatlh.

In my current game, I have +8 from each (I believe these are the "Oh yeah!!!" smilies)
