anybody Else get this....before a crash.!!!

Hi
I have tryed many things to stop my game crashing but it still does ..HOWEVER i have noticed that i get a warning and wondered if anybody else gets this,
Before my pc either reboots or the monitor goes on standby i can hear a loud *click* from the monitor, now when this happens i save and quit, before hand if i continued i would get a reboot or my monitor just went on to standby...any body else??????
god knows what it means
AMD 1.7 gig
512 RAM
XP home SP2
256meg Nvidia ( latest drivers)
PS does not happen any other game...

Yeah same here...ONLY CIV 4 behave like this.

I got ( for the first time)
an error message in task manager last night, when civ crashed...
I`ll post it tonight when im home.
Hope fully if the chaps at firaxis read these forums, it might help them???????

last one these are what i finally got in task manager.
The first time I`ve seen an error message when civ4 crashes ( this time to black screen, not reboot)
Hope this helps someone at firaxis, or some one who understands this

I have also noticed, but need to test it a bit more.
BUT my crashing *seems* to have a relation ot my configuration options in start up
If I choose `custom game` and make my selections i get a crash
If I choose `new game` and go through those options my crash time is reduced......anybody else???????
