  • why cannot build UN

Hi, I cannot build UN in game, all prerequisites are satified. Theres even not such an option in city's building list.

Is it because i turned off diplomatic victory? if not any other conditions?

    any help pls!

"diplomatic victory" MUST be enabled in order to build the U.N.

There has to be some other conditions for it, too. If start a game in the future era on a duel sized map with only 2 civs (with diplomatic victory enabled), I cannot build the UN either.

Not enough players? No UN in future era?

yeah, this is an oversight in the programming, imho. just because the victory is disabled, doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to play around with the thing.

            At least three players.

When there's just two nations that qualify for UN leadership (i.e. diplo victory) and one of them is you, the computer rival will NEVER vote for you - not even if you share their religion, are fighting a war together, and they are friendly towards you.

The AI just doesn't let you win that way. You need votes from other (preferrably non-eligible) civs to win a diplo victory.
