    Found a tini bug.

Watch the unit's terrain movement cost.

P.S.:I don't know if this is the right forum for this. Please excuse me if there's a bug forum I've not seen.

Had the same bug after upgrading a cavalry with a -1 movement cost promotion to a gunship.

My number was much larger though

      And another "TINY" bug:

Anyone ever notice that the windmills in the modern era turn backwards? Look at the blades, they should bo rotating counterclockwise from our viewpoint

I havent found a bug thread. Maybe this should be renamed and topped.

        Heres my bugs

        1) may be related to the horse archer bug above. I found that axemen with 2 city attack promotions were not getting the benefit in the combat odds (i.e. while attcking a city they showed a combat odds of 5). Axemen with 1 promotion had 5.5 (as they should have)

        2) Despite having the 'do not improve' checked, I had an automated worker start building railroads. This may be a bug fix with 1.09 but I know that I played a game where my workers did not build railroads under the same conditions (it took me forever to figure out why they weren't building railroads).

        3) Prior to installing 1.09 I had 2 (or 3) games disappear from the hall of fame. I have no idea how or why. I certainly didnt do it.

        4) After installing 1.09 I turned off the movies with the ini file. I started a game last night though and all of a sudden they're back!

3 and 4 seem pretty serious to me. Something is definitely very fishy.

          .

Most likely not a bug. I've seen stuff like this happen, but take a look at the enemy's odds. Do they seem to add up? No?

Well what is most likely happening, and according to what i've observed, the odds are still the same, its just they use lower numbers.

Consider this: Attacker has 75% attack bonus, and defender has 75% defense bonus. The Odds calculation just cancels each out (assuming same strength) and gives you smaller numbers. So instead of 8.7 vs 8.7, you get a display of 5 vs 5. Same odds, just smaller numbers.

Its a little hard to go back in time and check the enemy calcs (especially since I've thrown out the saves). I do recall that there were no obvious glitches since I was attacking as an underdog with a promoted axeman against archers in a city. Also the fact that the single (10%) promoted axeman showed the correct odds (i.e. 5.5 v 5.8 (or so) while a double promoted axeman attacking the same city had a 5 v 5.8 odds suggests that it is a bug, but I'll keep a closer eye from now on.

Yes, clearly it cancels out identical factors for both sides.

Question is whether it does that if it is part of a different stack of bonuses for each side. In those cases, the odds should be computed fully, with the identical factors figured in. I haven't checked.
