Civ4 Noble setting

I am not the best player in the world far from it but i have to say on Noble it is a bit of a cake walk...

I just ended a succesful space race the chinese were close but ai rather dumb. I t was between us[mongols] and the yanks and i just went to Roosevelt and said please attack Mousety he obliged they went at it for about 10 turns i got all my parts in place and blasted off to Alpha centuri...

If the ai had attacked me i was doen for as my military was weak i was classed at the puny..

I just clicked away to victory...the same with my points victory on a timed game on Noble.

Amcranking upto Prince but iw as a tad disappointed

I normally disable Space Race in Civ. It's just too boring, although Civ 3 & 4 have videos that are worth seeing once.

The thing about Prince and above is that the AI is now getting production and research bonuses, so it is therefore impossible to play completely peacefully (in my humble opinion) because one-on-one, you cannot compete with opponents who are able to do things just that little bit faster than you.

You really have to spend a long time at war, to cripple your opponents at the very least. Otherwise they just out-produce and out-research you.
