Question about opening vid by Nimroy

I read that there was an opening video with Leonard's voice over (and I heard the audio file in which he talks about the start of civilization) but I never saw the video in the game. I saw the beginning video in which we float over the Earth and than zoom in to see a king getting crowned but never the one in which Nimroy speaks. How do I see it?

When you first start a new game you'll see a screen with a filling green bar and a tip at the bottom. After a short while it'll have a button with 'Play game' on it. Don't click it.

It's less of a video than a slideshow, though.

Buy a very slow computer. You'll see it then

(You see the video when the game loads. But it's not a video. More a slideslow of pictures with voice over comments from Nimoy.)

This is a game where scientific method makes monasteries obsolete. In the old civ's one of the best techs in the game was Evolutionary Theory.

Of Course it's pro-evolution.

The original video it's based on is from Civilization, where this video would play while the map was generated. As it wasn't uncommon for this to take 5 minutes, they gave you something to watch.

Interesting. Ya this loads for me in less than 30secs. And my PC is not so impressive (I am an average PC player with Half-Life 2 and Empire Earth II being my latest games).

Pentium IV 2.4GHz
512MB RAM (hopefully I can get another 512 stick on Black Friday)
ATI Radeon 9600 AIW 128MB (no problem what so ever actually)

More importantly, it's the repeat of the Civilization 1 intro. With the Civilization 1 song playing, of course.

I can't comment on the Civ1 song, since there's no sound at all when playing (in Civ4), but the pictures are not from the Civ1 intro... some are, but most of them are not
