Is this normal?

Hi

I'm running the demo and i notice the scrolling is not very smooth..a little slow too....about the same regardless of video setting....i'm running an AMD athlon 2800XP,ATI 9200SE with 128mb of ram...512mb of system ram...is this normal with the game.?

Hey, I have 512mb ram, and the truth is, you need more. The demo ran fine, a bit choppy, but everything looked as it should. Civilization IV is a massive resource hog, and I am unable to play the game on anything other than a small map or the graphics become to garballed. I strongly recommend getting more RAM. Your video card & processor are a little weak too, but should be sufficient.

1024, X700, 1.8 here and i play on medium graphic settings.
