Just a thought wouldn't it be nice to prepare your own list of the reasons you like and dislike a certian civ so that they are clear as to your thoughts on them...! i mean at least be able to confirm your stance b4 initiating talks as either "Furious to pleased " rather like on Call 2 power 2 where you clicked on a little face b4 sending your message ...
In my current game i know whose hot with me and who likes me but i don't think they know my view on them unless they just reflect their own view...it just seems silly sometimes in this current game at the moment Japan just attacked me for no reason [save the information i have in red and green] having handed his head to him on a plate within a few turns he's asking me to change civics and then to attack my closest friend....ludicrous he must know that i am furious with him....
I think you should also be able to tell the civ to Bog off stop pestering etc as they like to do when you are desperately trying to end a war
Its just a thought and would add to your feeling of interaction with the AI and it would be great to send an insult etc and add another few points on the red list
-4 you called me a baboon
-3 you told me to bog off when i was in need of your mercy
-2 you refused me an audience
-5 you asked me to swap sides with my centuries old mate a few days after pillaging my lands
these could also be added to the AI's list in relation to their view of you as well
