Reboots when I play multiplayer in large or huge map

I know it dosnt crash if i play in standard. me and my girlfriend bought 2 copies of this Pos game and it doesnt work in multiplayer game. every single time it reboots as soon as it finishes loading.

We have identical laptops.

toshiba satelite m60

geforce go 6600 nvidia 256mb video card
1 gig ram
centrino 2 gig processor.

Not only multiplayer

Problem sounds familiar. Same problem here in single player
mode. Especially with large or huge map, but also with standard map and some specific leaderships (e.g. America, China).
Anyone for advice??
