  • CTD-Fix for what its worth

I've read the numerous threads about the crash....here's what I've found works for me.

    1. small world...size matters
    2. low graphics
    3. when things start getting busy I move the cursor to an empty section of the map...seems to help avoid the crash.

Like I said, for what it's worth...maybe I'm just getting lucky but I have actually finished a game this way with no crashes.

Also if you do crash on a worker or unit movement, reload and skip the move entirely, go to an empty section....and cross your fingers

    Two other things to avoid:

    1. Queuing up an order to 'Sleep' for a bomber after an order to rebase.

    2. Using spies to sabotage neutral (that is, not ocvered by anyone's cultural borders) tile improvements.
O'Neill: I'm telling you Teal'c, if we don't find a way out of this soon, I'm gonna lose it.

Lose it. It means, Go crazy. Nuts. Insane. Bonzo. No longer in possession of one's faculties. Three fries short of a Happy Meal. WACKO!
