    85-89

Theres a way to go yet. If it were the first game in a series it would easily break 95, but as it is, my mind is tainted by other "similar" games that did certain things better, but were (for some reason) passed on.

      guess I can't vote since I haven't done multiplayer.

But I think it's a great game. Better than Civ3. But perhaps not as good as the initial joy of civ2. But that was my first civ game. And your first love is always the best. I like it about as much as SMAC.

ahh screw it. I voted anyways. Even though I do plan on doing multiplayer later (democracy game). But those are different.

      I voted 90-94. 93 to be exact.

And you have no score over 100?

Your poll is meaningless to me!!

Because you are equating this game to all the other games -- and that --- that --- is impossible to do with the current scoring system -- throw it out -- and do some more thinking -- - on why it should be over -- 100 score!

I haven't voted yet because I think that time-based rating misses the point.

Anyway, as others have stated, if the patching and inevitable expansion packs (Now with even more civs!) address a lot of the issues raised around here I don't see why this Civ would be any less played than the others (with the possible exception of Civ II which is without a doubt the best Civ that was ever released).

93 but please patch it before people lose their patience
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

By the way, this poll sucks. No banana option.

I would say 90-94. It took me a month or so to really get into the game, but since then I have come to love it. I have not had the problems that many people post about, with regard to bugs, and I can't see many balance issues, simply because they are not there. There are issues that need to be ironed out, true, no reason to deny it. But I play for the simply pleasure of the gameplay, and the forums. And on that note, I say that it is a worthy game, better than C3C and definately better than Civ2, IMV.

I think the game will be addicting for years to come, but that it has some issues that need sorting. Ignoring the technical problems people are having still leaves a few gameplay bugs that have cropped up, and the question of balance (which may or may not end up being right already thanks to the playtest, but we'll see).

I'm the type of guy who played CivIII (Conquests) right up until CivIV's release. I played CivII right up until CivIII's release... thus I fully expect to be playing CivIV for years to come. But a jaded OT'er? I dunno.

So I'll err on the side of caution and vote a mere 90.
