Conquest Question

I just won my best game in Civ4 having achieved a Domination victory in 1545. As I did this the question occurred to me: How does one win a Conquest victory without winning by Domination first?

I could think of some quirky, duel map circumstances where it would be possible, but it gets problematic on larger maps with more countries. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Just raze alot of cities. Or disable domination.
