Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I was representation most of the time I was at total war. Thats three happy faces for the largest three cities. Smaller cities do not usually exhibit war weariness. I was not literally at a constant state of war in my conquest game. I had a few early conflicts to steal workers and a city from my fledgling Japanese neighbor. Then I had a couple of short wars that the AI initiated as I was ramping up my techs. Once I was ready, I unleashed my huge war machine, and went to work knocking out one country at a time. I had good relations with two of them, and was even able to get Germany to join in a couple of my wars (I killed them last).
Most of these wars lasted less than 15-20 turns from when I first invaded until when they fell. The AI (on Prince level) was fairly helpless when I attacked their city stacks with five or six cannon at a time, and later with Redcoats (awesome UU's BTW). Since I was razing rather than conquering after a certain point, my cavalry were able to keep my economy afloat my pillaging every improvement my doomed opponents had built. I noticed that the war weariness dropped sharply after I had eliminated my enemy. Then, there would be a few turns of peace as my army healed and redeployed to the new target's borders, further reducing war weariness. WW was never really a problem in this game.
In my other games, I got a lot more war weariness, especially when I am fighting extended conflicts where AI's "pile on" and declare war while I am already at war with another AI, and I am unable to get peace with all of them at once over a 50-60 turn time period. That is when war weariness becomes a big problem, even with Jails.

Are you just replying in every related thread with this (or variations thereof)? Seems I've read it more than a few times.
Back on topic; Heavily upgraded Modern Armours rock; but I have a soft spot for my Stealth Bombers softening up the enemy before attacking... (maybe that's why I never lose Armours to longbowmen)
