i have not yet tried OCC and i'm not sure if i will any time soon as i suspect it is impossible on anything but settler level or duel size world.
can someone tell me how you can create a super-city without:
- having many luxuries to be happy
- food types to be healthy
- strategic resources to speed up the wonders
- trade to research decently (towns don't produce hammers until the late game and other improvements do not generate much trade)
- unless you pump out loads of missionaries (meaning: no other builds) you'll hardly spread your religion..
you also cannot really trade with other civs because you probably will not have too many of the same resources.
for diplomatic victory your vote hardly counts because you only have that one, not too big, city.
for cultural victory you cannot have 3 cities with legendary culture.
conquest and domination are even more unlikely with the new combat system.
and spacerace is also tough unless you are really techwhoring away.
can one actually win an OCC game on middle difficulty levels or on standard sized maps?
