Wah, I would _so much_ love a SMAC 2!

I would buy a SMAC 2 if it was the same game with AI improvement and bug fixes if they gave it the graphical presentation of Civ 4. I would love to see Planet in full 3D with the eerie mood music of the original.

I seen that in one of my games. I got the bonus points for the victory, so it's obvious I got credit for the win. The reason I knew I got the bonus points for the victory because I actually lost that game earlier (before a reload) to the AI because I was trying to achieve cultural victory first. But I reloaded and finished my last spaceship part. I hate losing. But both games still show up in the hall of fame. One higher than the other of course.

Isn´t it that the messages shown at the beginning of the turn
point to events (i.e. Actions of the AI in most cases) which already took place?

So one must conclude that Tokugawa startet his spaceship before Tubersky did (i.e. at the end of the last turn, so, roughly one turn before Tubersky [as, so I assume, the building orders for all civs aren´t calculated already at the beginning of the turn, but instead they get completed when the civ gets the focus for this turn, so that a civ which gets the focus later in this turn also has its building orders completed later this turn and might get a spearman too late to defend against a civ which gets the focus earlier this turn]).

In Civ 3, the construction phase for all players came at the beginning of the turn, then the human player would move, then the AIs. Both civs could have completed their spaceships in the same construction phase, which would have occurred before the movement phase (the 'focus' section) of the turn.

When you're selecting what to build next in your cities, you're in the movement part of your turn.

Of course, this is only if it's the same as Civ3.
