Beta testing

I'd like to thank Firaxis for the the priviledge of allowing me to pay to become a beta tester for Civ4 (I always thought paying to be a beta tester was only done by Microsoft).

I'm eagerly awaiting the release version of the game and am hoping it's out in time for Christmas.


Has anybody heard anything "official" about a patch release date?

I've been to the official site and it's as useless as tits on a bull.

This is *not* beta testing as all the bugs and the problems caused by the "copy protection" will never be resolved.
There are too many bugs and the only way to stop the Safedisk problems is to strip it out - the publishers will never allow that.

Firaxis / 2K support is beyond words.

Put the game out and let the community to sort it out. fsckers.
