    not bad for a rookie

you won on score? gratz. didnt even know that was possible should have read the manual properly...

anyway, welcome in the fold, may the lords of civ be merciful to you.
it seems the game was a little easy for you though, gunships vs cavalry. gunpowder vs non-gunpowder. you must have been well in the lead... set it to prince and try again, and again, and again, thats addiction

          You bet I am

In time you'll hate the designers and yourself for ever getting into ( a great) TBS game.

and as SR said, nice read and welcome to Poly.

Thanks for the correction. I must use a spell checker next time.

Good write-up. I suggest you try Prince for your next game.

I enjoyed your story. One of the first Civ4 stories i've read through without thinking of stopping.

Brilliant writeup! It's not often that someone new to Civ can come up with such a lucid account!
