I am using the US version of Civ 4 in Japanese Windows XP. My account name is in Japanese (which is of course non-ASCII text). This doesn't give other games, even Pirates!, any trouble, but for some reason, Civ 4 will neither load custom content from the C:\Documents and Settings\(Japanese Text Here)\My Documents\My Games\Civilization 4\ folder, nor will it correctly find it when I go to save a game. It also has trouble saving my profiles and option settings.
Where can I change the path that Civ 4 looks to for custom content/game saves?
Changing that path for the game would be much less problematic than creating a new user account or changing my user name just for one game.
(Unless someone can tell me how to do it in a way that all my settings are carried over and everything will work with no trouble...)
