I load a game and it crashes before i get into it!

AMD 2200Ghz 512, radeon 9550

game wont load. It was earlier and now for some reason every time i try and load it it crashes when the screen goes black behind the loading box. Is this because the game cant handle the size of the game its loading? or something else? any ideas on how to fix it anyone?

Now it loads into the game itself and waits for about 5-8 seconds and then restarts my computer...this was happening before to me...then i installed the new drivers and it seemed to have fixed it...

any ideas anyone?
