Profile wont load ?

hi , my profile settings wont load ...

screen resolution, audio, etc etc , almost every time i launch the game , its all back to default setting , although i have my profile saved

its all back to default, so i try to load my profile by choosing the name in list , says load , but no change ?
tried saving it under default profile as well but ... no luck

not a big problem but am i alone?

As well, it is probably a bug, or one needs different users on the same machine, perhaps. to me it is a bug, since it only keeps it while in a game. As soon as one leaves, it starts over with the Default Profile, even if you Create (a) Profile!

never mind .
i solved that problem with the /ALTROOT=. trick

now everything is working fine
