Raging barbarians and change of name

I might have missed out on something here, but:
It seems that I can start a new game using the custom menu, and set 'raging barbarians'and other options, but not change the name of my character, whereas I can do that in the 'play now' menu, but not set the barb option?

Or what?

In the custom menu, you can switch name. I think you must click the icon on the far left, right next to your current name.
